ahhhhh.the thought was really sweet. i dont mind having block tests every week if this continues. (but one chapter a week enough ya :D) time's passing really quickly for the j2s 3 weeks to our last band camp, 7 weeks to syf, 3 months to block test 2 (25 june) :0 5 months to prelims (27 august) :O! 7 months to a's. (29 october) bleh x6.02x10^23. 3 weeks to our last band camp in sajcband, how much time can we commit each week for ourselves to be ready by then? considering that already many days are occupied by orientation preparation.. concert preparation.. exchanges.. and for the spasmodic sudden influxes of homework. last min deadlines.. i haven't said much.. but i personally think most of us are actually able to work more productively given time constraints. assuming our level of discipline is there lah. it should already be, right? we shouldn't be procrastinating on studying at this stage just because of tiredness. anyway what i'm trying to say is, it's possible to stay back often to practice, yet clock in reasonable study hours too. we just have to make full use of breaks, of all our evenings, instead of always rushing home after school. practice hard doesn't mean compromise study. i'm just saying this cos it always has been and it still is the same few people always coming down for individuals. but i'm hoping that now bt1s are over, things in our band room on non-official days will change. last term, i've had enough of having to fret over irresponsibility during sectionals. over scores going missing, over parts not practiced. okay, i'm sure it's possible for all our SLs to stay patient for just 7 more weeks. but for the sake of longevity and in the hope of reducing our hideous eyebags... i hope more responsibilities can be shared. please dont slack just because of the existence of stronger players. JIAYOU, BAND. :D and all the best for your bt1 results. LOVE, <3 Pam
